What a Holistic Psychological Coach and Mind Body Eating Coach does

Hello, I am Linda, a certified Holistic Psychological Coach and Mind Body Eating Coach. Today, I will explain what that means in this video (in Swiss German).

In 1:1 coaching sessions and workshops, I offer support with issues such as insecurities, self-worth problems, examining your overall relationship with your body, or stress management.

Essentially, I help with topics where you seek change and support.

Holistic means that I consider all aspects of your being. For example, we look at your experiences, your social context, how you feel in your body and what sensations you experience. We often work in a body-centered way. Naturally, we will talk a lot, and you will share your experiences with me, particularly those that significantly impact your current self. From these, we can draw valuable insights. When I say we work not only psychologically but also body-centered, it means we will treat your body as a valuable instrument and use it to drive change, make discoveries, and solidify the goals you wish to achieve.

You determine the topic, and together we define a goal that is sustainable, healthy and satisfying for you. And of course, we plan how to best achieve this goal.

Body image and self-perception are topics especially close to my heart. This concerns the relationship you have with your body. I bring my own experiences, but I am also certified by the "Institute for the Psychology of Eating" as a Mind Body Eating Coach. I consider your eating behavior holistically, from both mind and body perspectives, within the realm of eating psychology.
There must be more to it than just calories in and calories out, otherwise, it would be simple, and many of us would already have the body in which we feel comfortable and happy.

We take a closer look at the pressures from social norms, stress and guilt, and explore how much space you want to give them. It may not be your fault how you think and feel about yourself, but it is your responsibility. And that is something positive. When we actively acknowledge and take responsibility, we regain power over ourselves.
I firmly believe that you deserve to live a life where you feel comfortable, enjoy your food and your body, and find joy in them!

In addition to my education and training, I have also experienced a lot, processed a lot, and fortunately recovered from it. For example, I overcame an eating disorder in my youth and an exhaustion depression not too long ago. You can trust that I support you without prejudice and that I truly understand how certain things feel.
It is also important to me that I can show you possible ways to get out of certain situations and how to deal with others.
As a coach, I maintain a neutral stance, and YOU are always the focus. But I share this to let you know that you have a real person in front of you. We are transparent with each other, and authenticity is important to me!
With me, you will find a safe space, and everything is confidential.
Would you like to join me on your new journey?
